MK 30-10

Two-component methacrylate adhesive suitable for bonding fibre-reinforced composites in carbon and metals. Specific product for permanent bonding of metals with no use of primer, highly qualified.

MK 30-10

  • Methyl-methacrylate → best balance between Tenacity and Torsion | mix ratio 10:1 by volume
  • Doesn’t need of contaminating actions for surface abrasion → generally only blowing is required on the composite
  • Large functional gap-fill ≈ 0,25 mm ÷ 15 mm
  • Medium workability time (open-time) → fixing (fix-time) ≈ 25 ÷ 35 minutes
  • Quite flexible → maximum elongation strength ≈ 80 ÷ 100%
  • High tensile strength → 18 ÷ 22 MPa. The failure of the glass and/or carbon fibres occurs before the maximum value is reached
  • Easy pre-dosed usage → through 490 ML bi-cartridges | 19 LT | 189 LT drums
  • High resistance to severe aging cycles → Temperature | Humidity | Salinity
  • Suitable for heat painting cycles
