MK 20 – 70
Two-component methacrylate adhesive suitable for bonding fibre-reinforced composites in carbon and glass. Specific product for large bonding naval and wind structures.
MK 20-70
- Methyl-methacrylate → best balance between Tenacity and Torsion | mix ratio 10:1 by volume
- Doesn’t involve contaminating surface abrasion actions → generally only blowing is required on the hull
- Allows bonding with all thicknesses that occur → does not exceed in exothermic creating CO2 into the joint
- Very high thixotropy for vertical and filler applications
- Large functional gap-fill ≈ 0,50 mm ÷ 50 mm
- Very long workability time (open-time) → ≈ 90 ÷ 110 minutes
- Flexible → maximum elongation strength ≈ > 100%
- High tensile strength → 14 ÷ 18 MPa.
- Easy pre-dispensed extrusion → through 490 ML bi-cartridges | 19 LT Kgs | 189 LT
- High resistance to severe wet-static aging cycles → Temperature | Humidity | Salinity
- It can be mixed manually and not only through the dispensers → a dedicated guided procedure is available
- Styrene-free formulation (not hazardous for humans)
- Adjustable open and fix time, in function of the mix ratio
