Two-component methacrylate adhesive suitable for bonding fiber-reinforced composites in carbon and metals.

Specific product for definitive metal bonding primerless, highly performing and qualified.

SG 300 ↓

  • methyl methacrylate → best balance between Tenacity and Torsion – mix ratio 10:1 by volume
  • metals bonding approved for Naval interiors fasteners supports
  • it doesn’t require abrasion contaminating actions → generally only light cleaning is required on substrates
  • functional gap-fill ≈ 1 mm ÷ 25 mm
  • nautical certificate Lloyd’s Register no. MATS / 4739/2, ABS American Bureau of Shipping
  • versatile deposition periods (working-time) → fixing times (fix time) ≈ 15 ÷ 90 minutes selectable according to requirements
  • flexible → maximum elongation resistance ≈ 40 ÷ 60%
  • high tensile strength → 12 ÷ 15 MPa, normally tearing of glass and/or carbon fibers first
  • easy pre-dosed extrusion → through bi-cartridges 490 ML, 19 LT – 189 LT drums
  • high temperature resistance, suitable for hot painting cycles
