MASTIKPLEXX 5090

Two-component methacrylate adhesive suitable for glass and carbon fiber-reinforced composites bonding.

Specific product for flexible and large strctures assemblies with high surface energy.

MASTIKPLEXX 5090 ↓

  • methyl methacrylate → best balance between Tenacity and Torsion – mix ratio 10: 1 by volume
  • it doesn’t need abrasion actions → generally  on fiberglass
  • functional high gap-fill ≈ 1 mm ÷ 75 mm
  • versatile application periods (working-time) → fix times (fix time) ÷ 120 ÷ 140 minutes “according to requirements”
  • flexible → maximum elongation resistance ≈ 50%
  • high tensile strength → 22 ÷ 26 MPa, normally the laceration of the glass and/or carbon fibers fails first
  • No shrinkage.
  • Long curing.
  • Good resistance to acids and bases and hydrocarbon solvents.
  • Excellent adhesion on different substrates, primerless.
